OPENING DAY: DODGERS VS. GIANTS

I live in Echo Park directly down the hill from Dodgers Stadium, and it gets pretty hectic during baseball season. Yesterday was a major day for the neighborhood being Opening Day, and it started early in Elysian Park. Filled to the brim with BBQs, Dodger-decked cars, music, beer, and of course baseball fanatics, Elysian was rumbling with chaos and a thrill that can only come about through the dedication of tailgaters and diehard fans. I went to two games last year, and this year I plan on making it to many many more.

Game on, guys.

Most people had to park ages away, unless they got to the stadium early or made it to the park by 9am at the latest.
