I've always thought that Malificent was by far the most style-conscious DIsney villain. Her strange head piece, her lipstick, the gaunt length of her face, it all works for me. If she were a real woman who decided that the villain life just wasn't really her deal anymore, she may actually be Yasmin Sewell.
I came to know of this woman and was immediately floored by her haircut. Recently coming to terms with the fact that I was in horrible need of a professionally administered trim-and-shape, I began referencing images of her for immediate possibilities, as well as hairstyle future tripping. I then read an interview with her, and thought, "Okay rad, this is a complete picture of a woman."
Ayurvedic practitioner, meditator, mentor, and of course fashion editor + consultant, Yasmin manages to create so many variations of elegance via wardrobe, makeup, and health. I always appreciate a woman who can use her true beauty as a complimentary addition to the fun and edgy aspects of fashion. Her hair and skin show that she's not trying to be anything she's not, typically using very little product on either. A pop of color here, some elevation of the heels, and maybe a statement piece of jewelry or interesting nail color and she's off to the races.
